Terms for clubs
Last updated 30 October 2026
What you get
Door & Decks gives you a ticket shop, a door scanner, a front desk screen, members cards and song requests to the DJ, all on one web address. It works for regular nights and for one-off events such as fireworks, fêtes, carnivals and charity nights.
Free month
New dance clubs and regular nights get one month free to set everything up. Tickets go on sale once you pay. One-off events do not get a free month. Anyone can try everything first on our demo, which takes no real money. We do not ask for a card to start.
Price for regular nights
It is £100 a year, paid upfront. Your year starts the day you pay. That is per club: one plan covers all of your nights, all of your venues and as many logins as you need. A second club under a different name is a second plan.
Plans renew by themselves until you cancel. You can cancel any time from "Your plan" in your back office. You keep everything until the end of the time you have paid for. We do not give part refunds for unused time.
Price for one-off events
You choose one of two ways.
Booking fee. Your guests pay a booking fee of 5% of each ticket price, at least 30p a ticket. Free tickets are never charged. The fee is shown to the guest before they pay and is added to what they pay. It is taken by Stripe as each card payment goes through and is paid to Door & Decks. On this choice guests pay by card through Stripe; PayPal is not available. If you refund a booking in full from your back office, the booking fee is refunded to the guest too.
One event. You pay £99 for one event. It covers every date that event has when you pay, and ticket sales stay open until the day after the last of those dates. Dates added later are not covered. It is not refunded if the event does not go ahead.
We are not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added to our prices.
If a payment fails, or you have not chosen how to pay
Ticket sales pause. Nothing is deleted, and tickets you have already sold still work at the door. Sales switch back on as soon as the plan is paid.
Your guests' money
Ticket money goes straight from your guests to your own PayPal or Stripe account. Door & Decks never holds it. Refunds, chargebacks and fees on those payments are between you, your guests and PayPal or Stripe.
Your events and your guests
You are responsible for your events, what you sell, your prices and how you treat your guests, including following consumer law. You must only add people as members, or email them, when they have agreed to it.
Logins
Keep passwords private. Give each person their own login with only the access they need: the front desk and the DJ cannot see your takings.
Fair use
Do not use Door & Decks for anything unlawful, or to send people email they did not ask for. We may pause a club that does.
Our part
We work hard to keep Door & Decks running and your information safe, but we cannot promise it will never be unavailable. Always keep a way to let people in if your internet goes down, such as a printed list from the front desk. Our liability to you is limited to what you have paid us in the last 12 months.
Leaving
You can download your members list at any time. If you leave, ask us and we will delete your club's information.
Changes
If we change these terms or the price, we will tell you by email at least 30 days before.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. See also our privacy notice.
