Who is who
Each club using Door & Decks decides what happens to its guests' and members' information, so the club is in charge of it. Door & Decks stores and processes it for the club. For the club owner's own account, Door & Decks is in charge.
What we keep
Guests: name, email, phone if given, the tickets bought and when they were scanned at the door.
Members: name, email, phone if given, member number and when they joined.
Song requests: the song, the first name typed, and a random code for the phone so it can see its own requests.
Club logins: name, email and a scrambled copy of the password.
What we do not keep
Card numbers never reach our server. Payments are taken by PayPal or Stripe on their own secure pages.
Why
To sell and check tickets, run membership, pass song requests to the DJ, and send the emails a guest or member has asked for, such as their ticket or member card. Clubs may email their members about their nights only if the member agreed when joining.
Who else sees it
PayPal or Stripe, to take payments. Our hosting and email providers, to run the service. Apple, to put tickets and member cards in Apple Wallet. We do not sell anyone's information.
How long
For as long as the club uses Door & Decks. Members can leave at any time using the link in their emails. When a club leaves, its information is deleted on request.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information. Ask the club first; if you cannot reach them, contact us using the reply address on any Door & Decks email.
